Hi, friends! I hope you are all having an easy transition to the New Year. Things never quite slowed down around here lately, but I’m so looking forward to this year and all of the opportunities it’s going to bring! I’m starting off the year with a bang and bringing you a resort look from my favorite source for designer pieces…you guessed it – Nordstrom.
This. Blazer. One look and I knew I had to have it. This kind of investment piece is the best kind to look for because of its versatility. You can create sooo many different looks with this one. I am currently in Hawaii and this blazer has been a lifesaver for the cool nights. I like to drape blazers over my shoulder for an uber chic look when the weather begins to cool. And along with the totally style-able versatility comes the quality to match. The classic silhouette remains in style while the chic, preppier details like the contrasting collar and gold buttons really make it stand out from the crowd. This is a perfect piece to take you from the office to cocktail hour.
I decided to go for an all-black look to pick up on the contrast trim as well as black sandals with gold heels to pick up on the gilded buttons. Plus we all know black is my favorite color 😉 That unique collar really pops, and so do the buttons, which makes the blazer feel special. You could definitely dress it up with your favorite little black dress, some crisp dress pants or a silky cami for a date night-approved look.

OOTN Last night on the island and I’m rockin’ all black everything⚡️ I honestly cannot resist a great jumpsuit. In fact, I opt for them over dresses most of the time. I love their effortless vibe and find them to be way sexier than dresses, in general. Add in a deep plunging neckline and pockets and it’s seriously what my dressed up dreams are made of! || jumpsuit by @marissawebbnyc
